Carlos has been teaching guitar for over 30 years and has worked as a peripatetic guitar teacher for the last 25 years.
DBS Checked.
He has experience teaching a wide range of ages and abilities from year 1 up to 'A'Level.
Carlos has written and arranged numerous compositions for schools and has directed many guitar ensembles.
He regularly prepares pupils for both Trinity and Royal Academy graded guitar exams, individual or in grouped tuition.
Carlos is a qualified trained teacher assessor for the Royal Academy Music Medals examinations.
He strongly promotes live performing and ensures that all pupils have the opportunity to perform in school and public performances.
Carlos is currently actively involved with Whole class guitar tuition, working with Haringey Hertfordshire schools.
He regularly composes and arranges original material specifically for whole class sessions and his compositions are widely used in both Haringeyand Hertfordshire's Whole Class music tuition programmes.
